The 700 series of “Warbonnet” C44-9W’s were originally Santa Fe locomotives, and hearken to the time of the Santa Fe – Burlington Northern merger, even so far as to actually carry the traditional Santa Fe red and silver “Warbonnet” paint scheme.

Each Kobo DCC locomotive has been rigorously tested for performance and has had a Train Control Systems (TCS) DCC board installed to be truly ready-to-run on DCC. Please Note: DCC Equipped units are built to order and may require 1-2 weeks to complete, depending on board availability.
