N GG1 Conrail Bicentennial #4800 w/ DCC Installed

The GG1 is technically two 4-6-0 (G) locomotives under one shell, adding up to a 4.6k horsepower behemoth that was staggeringly powerful and fast even by today's standards. The original prototype GG1, #4800, enjoyed a long life and a number of paint schemes, including this special “Bicentennial” scheme that adorned it during the 1976 celebrations. Carrying a unique red, white, and blue color scheme, and adorned with 50 stars on each side and an image of the liberty bell, the locomotive joined the ranks of the Bicentennial Southern Pacific GS-4 and Burlington Northern Bicentennial “Spirit of 76” U30C in celebrating the United States’ 200th Birthday.

Each Kobo DCC locomotive has been rigorously tested for performance and has had a Train Control Systems K1D4-NC DCC board installed to be truly ready-to-run on DCC.
