Steve is a mechanical engineer who has also worked in aerospace. Growing up near Washington D.C., he remembers propliners, silver Air Force planes, and Pennsylvania Railroad GG1s. Steve caught the model railroad and railfanning bug in Europe in the '80s. He has a huge collection of Worldwide 1/160 scale trains and 1/144 scale planes from WWII to present.

Joe Mainz and his wife Sharon model the Southern Pacific between Flatonia and Hearne, TX, from the 1970s and 1980s. His layout was featured in 2008 great Model Railroads.

Matthew Halbert is a predominantly HO modeler but dabbles in N scale as well. Born in Kansas City and having lived most of his life in San Antonio, the Katy is a theme for many of his custom repainting projects.

Richard Marcinkowski has been actively modelling in N scale for about 10 years, and models the Clinchfield-area.

Matt Fisher models the mid 1970's Northeast Railroads prior to Conrail, and collaborates with fellow modeler John Bezuyen among others to weather and repaint his models.

Jon lives in Albuquerque, NM, and models BNSF and NS HO scale, custom painting his locomotives to match the locomotives that run through Belen, NM.

Steven Gordon lives in West Boylston, MA with his wife and her dog, and has been modeling N scale since 1972. His preferred models are post-WWII streamliners with straight-from-the-factory "pristine" E or F units in a western backdrop. He looks at his hobby as an extension of railfan artistry more than reality.

Scott Teague is from Granite Falls, NC. His 18x42 foot NS N-scale layout has been featured in such magazines as N-Scale Magazine, Great Model Railroads 2004, and N-Scale Railroading.

Scott lives in Salem, Oregon, and has been modeling N scale since 1996. It seems pretty obvious that Southern Pacific is his favorite railroad.

Robert lives in Cerritos, CA. He custom numbers and weathers his HO locomotives to match prototype models as exactly as possible.
